
Teflon tape, also known as polytetrafluoroethylene glass fiber tape, is made of imported glass fiber yarn coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin to make polytetrafluoroethylene high-temperature cloth, and then a layer of organic silicon high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied on the surface of the polytetrafluoroethylene high-temperature cloth to produce polytetrafluoroethylene glass fiber tape. It can be used repeatedly and is easy to replace. The fabric-reinforced PTFE Teflon tape has higher strength.
Conventional 0.18mm PTFE fiberglass tape is basically composed of 0.10mm glass fiber cloth + 0.03mm PTFE coating + 0.05mm high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive. Its basic parameters are as follows:
